Gavin started his heart adventure straight out of the womb when the doctor said, something doesn't sound right. By day-two, we were at Children's Heart Clinic only to find out he has Tetralogy of Fallot.
Due to the severity of his condition, Gavin underwent open heart surgery at six months. Then at a year and half, Gavin had an additional surgery to remove blockage in his valves.
Gavin continues to be monitored every six months and at this time, doctors feel he won’t have additional surgeries until he’s in his teens.
