Join Me In Providing Students With the Resources They Need to Succeed!
Dear Friends and Family -
I joined Mile High 360, a Denver-based educational community for prospective first-generation college students, 14 years ago and am still exhilated by the work we do. I am so excited by MH360 because of the people we work and that we, all of us, are continually learning. No two days are the same, which, at times, can be a bit tiring:). I
While a significant portion of my job is fundraising, twice each year I dig deep into my roledex to invite my friends and family to join my. In the spring I participate in a bike event and the fall it is a squash event. Right now, I am playing and fundraising in the 2025 360 Summit Challenge Series. I am comfortable asking my family and friends to join me in suppring MH360 because we provide unparalleled support for our students, who are working to become first-generation college graduates.
Access to quality educational resources - from school to enrichment resources - is neither universally accessible nor equitably distributed.
Every student, but particularly those with the fewest resources, faces challenges on the path from middle school to college and then to career and life success.
This is where Mile High 360 steps in:
Mile High 360 is a comprehensive, wrap-around services program designed to engage first-generation college-bound students with the necessary after-school, weekend, and summer access to essential out-of-school resources in four core areas.
- Academic Assistance: Study skills support, tutoring, literacy enrichment, SAT prep, college visits, scholarships, academic advising, and an array of college preparation support;
- Health & Wellness Programs: Mental health support, drug and alcohol prevention, human development classes, cycling coaching, nutritional instruction, and cooking classes;
- Life Skills Experiences: Community service, summer travel, financial health classes, internships, resume building, networking and career support;
- Mentoring: Trained volunteer mentors are paired with students to help normalize postsecondary enrollment, set goals, and increase students' social capital.
Mile High 360 programming complements school-based learning by mobilizing and organizing essential out-of-school resources to address a child's social, emotional, and academic needs. It is with Mile High 360 that students "learn to go to college".
Please join me in supporting Mile High 360 Students! 100% of your contribution, minus processing fees, will provide the resources students need to succeed in school and beyond!
Donating is easy and secure.
Thanks!
College Visits
Academic programming includes tutoring, study skills, literacy enrichment and academic advising specifically designed for challenges faced by first-general college bound students. Our high school students take two trips each year to learn about life on college campuses, helping them build their identity as a postsecondary student.
Cycling Program
All our students participate in physical activity, nutrition and emotional well-being programming. Our cycling program is for all students – some learning to ride for the first time, while others ride with our team in the SBT GRVL event each summer.
Bridging the Technology Divide
Each student will have the necessary technology to succeed in their academic journey including hardware, software and upgrades and access to technology instruction.
Developing Independence
Through building social capital, summer travel and camp opportunities, career preparation, and role model speaker series, we help our students develop critical life skills that support journeys to, and through, higher education.
Siblings
