We recognize that asking friends, colleagues, family members, and loved ones to join us in donating to a nonprofit can be challenging. However, our team is committed to pushing through and making these challenging asks because Mile High 360 is worth it.
With a mission to ensure that socio-economic status isn't a limiting factor in the future of young children and the understanding that educational and life outcomes are tied to out-of-school resources as much as to the classroom, Mile High 360 is a year-round, wrap-around services support community spanning 14 consecutive years (6th grade through age 24), engaging prospective first-generation college students through essential out-of-school resources in four core areas.
- Academic Assistance: Study skills support, tutoring, enrichment in literacy, SAT prep, college visits, and an array of college preparation support
- Health & Wellness Programs: Mental health support, drug and alcohol prevention, human development classes, cycling coaching, and nutritional/cooking instruction
- Life Skills Experiences: Community service, summer travel, a speaker series, financial health classes, internships, resume building, networking and career explorations
- Mentoring: Students are paired with a recent college graduate to explore their collective interests
Mile High 360 students join in 6th grade and remain with us through age 24, participating in over 3,500 hours of formal and informal programming over those 14 consecutive years. We grow up together, learning how to attend college and break intergenerational cycles of poverty.
