I have been supporting Mile High 360 for years. I volunteer, donate, serve on the Board of Directors, and encourage others to support MH360. I do all of this because MH360 delivers on its mission by providing unparalleled support for its students and their families.
As you know, access to quality educational resources - from school to enrichment resources - is neither universally accessible nor equitably distributed.
The path from middle school to career and life success is filled with challenges for every student, but particularly those with the fewest resources.
This is where Mile High 360 steps in. Working with each student for up to 14 consecutive years, age 11 through age 24...
Mile High 360 is a comprehensive, wrap-around services program designed to provide first-generation college bound students with after-school, weekend and summer access to essential out-of-school resources in four core areas.
- Academic Assistance: Study skills support, tutoring, literacy enrichment, SAT prep, college visits, and an array of college preparation support;
- Health & Wellness Programs: Mental health support, drug and alcohol prevention, human development classes, cycling coaching, and nutritional instruction; and
- Life Skills Experiences: Community service, summer travel, a speaker series, financial health classes, internships, resume building, and job support.
- Mentoring: Youth and adults are matched to create the opportunity for anohter positive relationship to blossom. Through a curated set of group and "individual" activities, the adults and the youth get to broaden their respective world views.
Mile High 360 programming complements school-based learning by providing and organizing local and regional resources to address a child’s social, emotional, and academic needs.
