As a Board member of Junior Achievement of Greater Miami, I have personally witnessed the power of financial literacy education on Miami Dade County students. With your financial support, Junior Achievement’s programs and volunteers will continue to provide underprivileged students with the financial literacy education needed to break the cycle of poverty. We will continue to inspire kids to harness their innate entrepreneurial instincts as a path to success. And we will continue to cultivate America’s next generation of entrepreneurs, businesspeople, and innovators.

Junior Achievement's Mission

Junior Achievement of Greater Miami focuses on delivering high-impact programs that drive long-term outcomes in the areas of financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship. Together with the business and education communities, we are working to cultivate future-ready students with the mindsets, competencies, and confidence to flourish.

During the 2022-2023 school year, JA Miami reached more than 40,000 K-12 students through JA learning experiences, led by nearly five hundred corporate volunteers serving as role models helping to positively impact young people’s perceptions about the importance of education, as well as critical life skills. Two out of three of the children we serve live at or below the national poverty level. We aim to promote economic empowerment through JA’s educational programs, delivered by caring adults from the community.
