"I am participating in the 48 Hours in the Life Experience because we followed along with last year's participant's Facebook videos, and my 12-year-old daughter (at the time) became motivated to help individuals experiencing homelessness. I’m hoping to learn better ways to help our community and to show that normal citizens can make a difference." 

Aurora is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the homeless and near homeless in the Greater Evansville, IN area. Each year, it serves over 350 individuals: men, women, children, seniors, those with disabilities, and the re-entry population. 

The Homeless Experience Project is Aurora’s new fundraiser and awareness event and its purpose is to bring a greater understanding of the struggles the families and individuals face when homeless in our community. If you'd like to support Aurora, please donate to my fundraising page!
