My name is Braysen but most people call me Bray-Bray or BeBe. I am three years old will be four June 18th. I am a fun loving boy! I'm full of life and my mommy thinks I'm the cutest little boy around! I have two older siblings that definitely watch me like a hawk and sometimes that makes me a little mad when they are in my way. I know they are only trying to watch out for me though. I don't allow my mommy to get any sleep at night because she stays up watching me incase I was to have any seizures or respiratory concerns. I love to keep my mommy on her toes. Even though I stay pretty sick you will almost always see me laughing and smiling. March 2023 I had a grand mal seizure that resulted in cardiac arrest. Since then I have had many hospital stays due to numerous medical issues. I was also diagnosed with autism in July of 2023. My mommy tells me that just means I learn differently but I'm still a very smart boy. My mommy and doctors think I will benefit from having a service dog to help alert everyone around me if I was to have a seizure. This will also give me a little more freedom in life and not to have my mommy up all night. I you feel it in your heart to help us raise money for me a buddy I would very much appreciate it. Also if you can continue to pray for us during this journey it would mean the world to us. Between my mommy and all my family and friends I know we can come together and help bless me with my buddy! Stay tune because soon I'm going to be fighting this epilepsy world with four extra legs! Mommy said 6 legs are better then two what do you think?!?
Training a service dog to meet our child’s requirements can be very costly. On average it costs between $40,000-60,000 to raise, train, and place a service dog at 4 Paws for Ability. While 4 Paws for Ability fundraises to help cover a significant portion of this cost, families are tasked with raising $20,000 of that amount or $23,000 if receiving a poodle, doodle or papillon. We hope that we can receive assistance from our beloved family and friends to help make our service dog dream a reality.
