Training a service dog to meet our child’s requirements can be very costly. On average it costs between $40,000-60,000 to raise, train, and place a service dog at 4 Paws for Ability. While 4 Paws for Ability fundraises to help cover a significant portion of this cost, families are tasked with raising $20,000 of that amount or $23,000 if receiving a poodle, doodle or papillon. We hope that we can receive assistance from our beloved family and friends to help make our service dog dream a reality.
Hi, Im Jalina Crespo. I'm a 16 year old from New Jersey with severe epilepsy experiencing 1-3 unpredictable seizures each month. Because of my condition I can not drive or fully enjoy the typical teenage experiences, but I refuse to let epilepsy define my future. I dream f going to college and living an independent, happy life- something that a service dog could help make possible. A service dog would provide safety, confidence, and the freedom I need to navigate the world on my own. Im praying for support and deeply appreciate everyone who believes in my journey. Sending love and gratitue to all.
