Training a service dog to meet our child’s requirements can be very costly. On average it costs between $40,000-60,000 to raise, train, and place a service dog at 4 Paws for Ability. While 4 Paws for Ability fundraises to help cover a significant portion of this cost, families are tasked with raising $20,000 of that amount or $23,000 if receiving a poodle, doodle or papillon. We hope that we can receive assistance from our beloved family and friends to help make our service dog dream a reality.

Hi! I'm Jude. I am eight years old and I have Dravet syndrome, a rare form of epilepsy that means my seizures are sometimes severe and frequent, and affect my life in big ways. I am raising money for a seizure service dog that will let my friends, family, and teachers know when I'm having a seizure so that they can help me. This is especially important at night, because seizing in your sleep can be very dangerous, and a service dog can wake up my mom and dad and keep me safe. I am super curious and friendly, and a service dog will also keep me from wandering off in public places, and can also help me if I fall, or calm me down if I'm upset.
I love animals more than anything in the world, and I'm excited to have a new best friend that will go everywhere with me. My family and I would be very grateful for your support in making this dream possible for us!
