My Personal Fundraising Page
Training a service dog to meet our child’s requirements can be very costly. On average it costs between $40,000-60,000 to raise, train, and place a service dog at 4 Paws for Ability. While 4 Paws for Ability fundraises to help cover a significant portion of this cost, families are tasked with raising $20,000 of that amount or $23,000 if receiving a poodle, doodle or papillon. We hope that we can receive assistance from our beloved family and friends to help make our service dog dream a reality.

Help Amelia Get a Life-Saving Seizure Dog
Meet Amelia, a brave and resilient 8-year-old who has been fighting a rare and devastating form of epilepsy called Doose syndrome for nearly three years. Her journey has been filled with daily battles-suffering from multiple grand mal and myoclonic atonic seizures every month.
Despite trying numerous treatments and traveling to other cities and states, to seek expert opinions, Amelia’s seizures continue. This continues to make everyday life unpredictable and DANGEROUS.
Her parents are doing everything they can to keep her safe, but Amelia’s condition limits her independence. We are raising funds for a specially trained seizure alert dog through 4 Paws for Ability. This incredible service dog will not only provide life saving alerts but also give Amelia the confidence and freedom that every child deserves.
The total cost for this highly trained dog is $43,000. Thankfully, generous donors help cover $20,000. We need to raise $23,000 to make this a reality for Amelia. Once funded, it will take 1.5-2 years to receive her dog- but every step brings us closer to giving Amelia the safety and independence she deserves.
Thank you and continue to pray for her and her family!
