Hello! My name is Hudson Wenclewicz. I am 6 years old and was diagnosed with autism at 2. I am also nonverbal.
Every morning begins quietly in our home. My son wakes up slowly, taking in the sounds and light around him. The world can feel loud and confusing sometimes, but at home he has a rhythm that is all his own.
He loves the little things—lining up his favorite toys, listening to the same song again and again, and finding comfort in familiar routines. These moments might seem small to others, but to him they are important pieces of a world that makes sense.
Living with autism means he experiences life differently. Sometimes words are hard, and sometimes emotions are big. But he also notices details many people miss—the hum of a fan, the pattern of light on the wall, or the feeling of a soft blanket.
At home, we celebrate every step forward, every smile, and every new thing he tries. His way of seeing the world teaches us patience, understanding, and a different kind of joy.
Hudson is so loving and would benefit from a service dog In so many way from safety, emotional regulation, and a best friend for him :)
Thank you for taking the time to read this and a future thank you from our family to yours!
