Our Fellow Alaskans!!
For 53 years Hope has focused on removing barriers to meaningful lives, and 2021 gave ample opportunity to deliver mission in the midst of unprecedented challenge. However, these unprecedented times have come at a cost. Hope has spent significant funds ensuring our employees and support recipients stay safe and are able still provide and receive services.
This year’s event will be Saturday, May 7, 2022 starting at 9 A.M. on the Park Strip (10th & P)! The Walk & Roll for Hope has decades of support from thousands of Alaskans who gather pledges and walk to bring awareness to critical disability services in Alaska.
The Walk & Roll for Hope has been a vital source of revenue for Hope for the last 53 years, raising essential funds to augment the ever-growing unfunded needs that are fundamental to the continuation of quality programs and services.
Your participation is crucial in helping to provide much-needed funding to stabilize and maintain services to Alaskans who experience an intellectual, developmental or other physical disability, a traumatic brain injury or a mental health challenge in these uncertain times.
How to Participate in 2022
Register for the event, then reach out to friends and family members and ask them to sponsor you. Then meet with your fellow walkers/rollers on Saturday, May 7 and enjoy the great outdoors while raising funds for Hope Community Resources.
