WHO ARE YOU RUNNING FOR?
Our Shelter and Emergency Services offer a 24-hour, 7 days-a-week, extended stay family shelter, with additional programming and services available to address the various needs of the residents.
PEACE OUT HOMELESSNESS
Reach down deep inside and awaken your inner flower child as we say “Peace Out Homlessness” for the 11th annual Home Run for the Homeless which supports Neighborhood Alliance programming. This year we are taking the theme retro with a peace love and happiness type vibe as we aim to spread awareness for homelessness at this fun USATF Certified 5k run and 1 Mile family walk. Taking place at All Pro Freight Stadium, this event will take place on Saturday April 30th 2016 (2009 Baseball Blvd. Avon, OH 44011) and will surely be a blast from the past that you don’t want to miss!
This “Hippie” themed 5k Run is to begin promptly at 9:00 am with registration opening at 8:00 am. The 1 mile Family Walk will start at 9:45 am and we encourage all participants to join in. Special appearances and music from this laid back era will help spread good vibes throughout this event and make it well worth the time spent supporting this great cause. Together we can help spread awareness and help end homeless in Lorain County.
