I am 29. I got diganosed with CRPS at 25 after a work injury. It's been a crazy 3.5 years fighting tooth and nail for care. Eventually when Workers Comp stopped all treatment I had to rely on my personal insurance and luckily with Medicaid my Spinal Cord Stimulator was completely covered. Without my Medicaid I would not have been able to afford the 42K SCS let alone the surgery to get it installed properly. I have had support from my (now) fiancee, his family, and my maternal side of my family. I had great cheerleaders in the form of my adult league softball teammates and my closest friends!


