Barbara Masley has held various roles during her career as an educator. She served many years as an elementary teacher, was an instructional coach, curriculum specialist, staff developer and elementary principal who developed workshops for teachers focusing on both reading and mathematics skills. She now serves as an educational consultant who designs interactive workshops for Scholastic Book Fairs that support both independent reading practice and family involvement. She currently travels across the country working with teachers and administrators during Scholastic Reading Summits, Regional and State Conferences. Barbara is a graduate of Worcester State University, the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and Harvard University.
