The NAPW Foundation was established by NAPW President Star Jones as a non-profit philanthropic initiative. Our mission was designed to make a difference in the lives of women and girls through service, sisterhood and self-help. NAPW Local Chapters pay it forward by raising awareness of issues and causes impacting communities and the world. Through monthly Local Chapter networking initiatives, events and activities, NAPW members bring encouragement and support to the Foundation’s philanthropic partners, which include the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF).
To achieve prevention and a cure for breast cancer in our lifetime, the BCRF provides critical funding for innovative clinical and transnational research at leading medical centers worldwide, and increasing public awareness about good breast health.
