Few of us can truly imagine the journey associated with having a child diagnosed with cancer or a life-threatening blood disorder. The entire family is turned upside down. Usually one if not both parents have to decrease employment or quit working altogether. Financial struggles are very common.

Something as simple as paying for meals while their child is hospitalized becomes challenging. Through the generosity of our donors, the Cancer Kids Fund at Children’s Minnesota provides meal vouchers to these families, which alleviates a great deal of stress.

Our goal today is to raise $5,000 for Cancer Kids Fund meal vouchers, which will provide 769 meals to families going through this difficult journey. Because having a child diagnosed with cancer or a life-threatening blood disorder is hard enough. A parent or sibling's next meal shouldn't be part of the stress.
