Chemotherapy treatments can last all day, and playing video games can help pass the time during those lengthy treatments. Studies show that distractions like gaming can also decrease the sensation of pain. That’s the power of play! Here’s how you can game for good:
Step 1: Register as an individual or start a team, and set a fundraising goal.
Step 2: Get sponsors – ask your friends and families to donate.
Step 3: Get your game on. Fri, Feb. 5 at 5 p.m. through Sat, Feb. 6 at 5 p.m. Grab your favorite game: COD, DOTA, Candycrush, you name it. Tune into our Twitch Feed (http://www.twitch.tv/EGS_RIT) to follow along, and have your own FusionFest Fiesta at home. Get your friends and family together for an evening of video games, because when you play, we all win.
