This year's 3rd Annual Pensacola Humane Society Golf Tournament is set for April 1, 2017 at Marcus Point Golf Club in Pensacola. The outing is underwritten in part by Atlas Financial Services, a financial services company led by Andrew Martin. The event falls under the leadership of Kyle Skipper, who has guided this event each of the past three years, to support the efforts of the Humane Society to find loving forever homes for homeless dogs and cats in the Pensacola area.
The golf outing is set for Saturday, April 1 and everyone will tee off at 1 p.m. The cost of the event is $350 per foursome or $87.50 per person. All participants are eligible to compete in three hole-in-one contests, shooting to win a free 2017 Toyota, a large screen television and airfare in the continental United States for two, plus a long drive contest and closest to the pin. The outing awards gifts to the top three teams in this handicapped golfing event. A number of items will be provided to those participating in the event.
The event should be a lot of fun as complimentary soft drinks and beer will be available on the course. Mulligans will be sold to help off-set that occassional poor golf shot. After the golf concludes, each golfer will relax while eating dinner and talking with friends. Prizes from the day's event will be distributed, along with the winners of the various raffle prizes.
For those unable to take part in the golf, dinner only tickets are available for $10. The barbeque dinner will be more than worth this modest cost.
The finishing touches are being added to a special $5,000 putting contest. Entry to putting contest are $5 for three tries to sink a put from 10-feet. The top five participants in the putting competition witl have a putt-off where the winner will get a chance to sink a putt from 60 feet to win $5,000.
