No Excuse. Stop Child Abuse. Give Today!
Last year was the first year of our community challenge to raise $1Million during April, the National Child Abuse Prevention Month. You made the campaign a success by raising $642,338 through 538 unique gifts.
This April, you and hundreds of other committed supporters have the opportunity to take a stand for the abused and neglected children of our community and meet or break last year’s extraordinary goal. Only as a community can we stop child abuse.
We thank the Carl C. Anderson, Sr. and Marie Jo Anderson Charitable Foundation and The Texas Cavaliers Charitable Foundation who have already issued Match Grant Challenges. Your gift given between April 1–30 will be matched 1:1 to the limit of these challenges. Act fast and make your gift count twice!

Together we can break the cycle of abuse and neglect. Yes, we can!
The mission of ChildSafe is to restore dignity, hope, and trust to children traumatized by abuse and neglect.
As the only Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) in Bexar County, ChildSafe provides the most comprehensive continuum of care to child survivors of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, and to their non-offending family members. ChildSafe offers Child and Family Traumatic Stress Intervention and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, both of which are evidenced-based clinical treatment models. Additionally, our Adventure Therapy Program, Commercially Sexually Exploited Youth Project with Bexar County Juvenile Probation, and our United Way Military Family Project are unique not only to San Antonio, but among the 70 CACs in Texas.
The need for our services continues to grow. Last year, ChildSafe served over 3,400 individuals and experienced an increase of 60% in counseling sessions.
