Walk or sponsor a walker to raise money for our Godchildren in Uganda.
ChildVoice's Godparent Program, also called the Naomi Project, is named in honor of Naomi from the book of Ruth. This unique program matches students at ChildVoice's Lukome Center with churches willing to fulfil the role of a godparent. Through this unique opportunity, BeFree Church will continue to come together to love, support, and pray for Brenda and her family as she navigates the difficult journey of healing and transformation.
Our godchildren, Brenda, Maxwell & Ivan joined the ChildVoice family in January 2015. Once living in abject poverty and surrounded by brutal domestic violence, the future of this young family has gone from despair to hope!
Here's how you can help:
1. Register for the Mother’s Day Walk by clicking on the Register button and creating a fundraising page online.
2. Then share your page via email or Facebook and ask your friends and family to sponsor you.
3. BeFree Dover: meet us at the McConnell Center on May 14th at 9:15am and we'll walk the first one-half mile together to One Washington Mill for our Sunday Service. Afterwards we can complete our mile by walking back to the McConnell Center. BeFree Barrington: meet us at 9am in the sanctuary hall. We will walk a one mile loop together in the church neighborhood.
If you are unable to attend, we still encourage you to gather sponsors and participate by walking a mile yourself anytime in the month of May.
