Western Carolina Sailing Club's 2018 Diva Regatta

On May 5 & 6, 2018, WCSC will be hosting our annual Diva Regatta. This year will promise even more opportunity for participation with two key changes. We have moved the event to the weekend of May 5 & 6. Those individuals that have expressed interest in participating year after year but have had football weekend conflicts, will finally be able to attend. The second change is that we will be adding a new fleet option to foster additional participation. Along with having the distance course requiring a female at the helm, we will be adding a separate fleet where there will just be a female participating on the boat. This will be a distance course also and these fleets will be likely to have the same start, but will be scored separately.

Saturday after sailing we will have raffles, appetizers, dinner, and awards.
Sunday we will have brunch and for those who can stay and play, we will have more sailing opportunities.

Diva Regatta will continue to have a goal of raising money for Safe Harbor, with the money we raise specifically going towards a new shelter in the Greenville area to support victims of domestic violence and their children.
