BE A VOICE FOR CHILDREN WITH CANCER IN VIRGINIA!

Did you know that 325+ children are diagnosed with cancer each year in Virginia?

We need your help in making sure that they have the resources and support that they need!  On Tuesday, January 22, 2019 the Virginia Childhood Cancer Workgroup will go to our General Assembly as part of Childhood Cancer Awareness Day.

Reach out to your legislators and get childhood cancer on their radar! 

Right now over $20 million is designated in Virginia’s state budget for cancer and none of it targets children. We think that Virginia can do better. We have a vision of making sure there are designated resources for Virginia’s youngest cancer patients and survivors.

1. Find contact info for your local representative at vachildhoodcancer.org

2. Tweet or email your legislator the week of January 14th letting them know why this cause matters.

3. Use hashtags #vachildhoodcancer or #vapediatriccancerfund
