Unleash the Power to Save Lives

The Countdown is on! Be a part of Rhode Island's largest pet walk and a Newport County tradition by participating in the 30th Annual Heart & Sole Walk for Animals on October 20, 2019.The event is held at Glen Park in Portsmouth and raises money to help the Potter League care for thousands of homeless animals each year.

We invite all animal lovers – friends and families to register and unleash the power to save lives. Our goal is to raise $100,000 and the animals are counting on us and we are counting on YOU! Register Now!

About the Heart & Sole Walk for the Animals

Your particpation and fundraising for the Heart & Sole Walk for Animals helps the Potter League care for thousands of homeless animals each year and gives them the second chance they need and deserve. Our goal is to raise $100,000 to help every animal receive the very best care and find a loving home.

Registration

To get started, register as an individual, start a team or join a team!

Fee: There is no rgistration fee but everyone is encouraged to fundraise or donate to help animals in need.

All participants who raise a minimum of $50 will receive a signature Walk T-shirt ($25 for kids 12 and under) and the more money you raise the more fun prizes you can earn! (See event info for full listing) Prizes are based on individual fundraising achievements.

If you want to sponsor a specific walker you can find a full listing on the leaderboard or put the individual or team name in the search bar above. 

Event Activities (starting at 10:00am)

  • Food Trucks & Refreshments
  • Adoption Station 
  • Flea-less Market (Specialty Vendors & Sponsor Exhibits)
  • Obstacle Course
  • Demonstrations on the Cat Walk Stage
  • Pet Contests 
  • Kid's Activities and Facepainting
  • Raffles
  • Music by DJ Bells
  • 1 or 1.5 mile Walk kicks off at 12:00Noon.

Schedule of Events 

10:00am – Walk Check-In. Festivities begin.
12:00pm – Walk Start Time
1:00pm –   Top 3 Adult, Teen and Youth Fundraisers and Top 3 Team Awards
