Virtual Play4JA

Due to COVID-19, JA of Northern California has cancelled all our in-person peer-to-peer fundraising events that were scheduled throughout the Spring season.

Our team is working on new virtual ways that our supporting partners can continue to take part in the Play4JA experience, while also helping to raise funds so that we can continue to serve students with financial literacy, workforce readiness, and entrepreneurship programming.

We hope that these new virtual opportunities will give you the chance to connect with your colleagues while we are all sheltering in place, while also supporting the mission of JA.

JA Trivia Night

JA Trivia Company Tournament

Our events team are looking for corporate partners who would be interested in hosting a trivia fundraiser for Junior Achievement. Like the JA Bowl-a-thon, members of a participating company will join our fun event and fundraise virtually towards a collective goal. 

Participants should grab their phone and laptop, a favorite snack/beverage of choice, then dial into a screen sharing platform for a weekly live Kahoot! trivia event. Topics will vary from pop culture, JA curriculum and a few random things to make us laugh!

Each dollar raised will help us continue to deliver programs to our students throughout the region.

Virtual 5K for JA

Join Junior Achievement in our brand-new virtual peer-to-peer fundraiser: Virtual 5K for JA!

Just register for the event, choose a fundraising goal and then share with your network that you are exercising for a good cause. You can complete the 5K anywhere, at home on the treadmill, at a local trail, or walking the dog around the neighborhood.

You don’t event have to run the 5K! Walk it, swim it, cycle it, treadmill it etc. As long as you are being active and sharing JA’s mission, you are a part of our Virtual 5K event!
