Financial literacy is extremely important. It makes a difference for people from every walk of life. The funds and time that I have invested in Junior Achievement have paid me back in smiles, thank yous, and better lives being lived by kids and their families. I have taught in classrooms and worked in BizTown and Finance Park doing my best to help kids understand the tradeoffs needed to take control of their financial future. I joined the Board of Directors here in Tampa Bay so that I could continue to ensure that all kids receive this enlightening experience.
