About Me!

My name is Shelby Colbaugh. I'm 20 years old, have been surrounded by cats my whole life, and I'm very excited to be participating and assisting in the Adoption Angel Lock-In fundraiser supporting the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia!

As a state officer for SkillsUSA, and an officer for multiple clubs at my local college, I'm always looking for new opportunities to help my community however I can. In my mind, the humane society is a wonderful place to start.

Why Am I Doing This?

Shelters across North Georgia are overwhelmed with stray animals, rescues, and animals surrendered daily! These organizations are no-kill shelters, so taking in animals is a luxury, leaving strays to fend for themselves, create massive populations throughout our town, and lead to enviornmental distress. Fundraisers like these help provide the shelter with relief for the facility and their animals, and may even provide the animals the volunteers are locked in with a chance at a free-adoption, allowing someone less-fortunate to take home their furever friend - and space for a new guest! So I'm getting locked-in at HSNEGA, and I need your help to bail me, and my furry friends out!

Every donation—big or small—helps me reach my fundraising goal and directly impacts this important cause, and helps the community tremendously.
