We have a chair for you at A Chair Affair on Saturday, February 22, 2025. Widely regarded as the city’s most prestigious black tie social event, selling over 400 tickets each year and raising millions of dollars for Rochester youth in need.

At this year’s A Chair Affair, prepare to be drawn into a world where shimmering lights and mesmerizing performances weave together, creating an unexpected experience. This event is not just about enjoying a glamorous night—it’s about giving back. The evening will feature a silent auction, luxury auction packages, and highlight the extraordinary artisan-made chairs that embody the spirit of the night.

Cocktail Reception

Step into Doctors Mayo Hall for an unforgettable cocktail reception and silent auction, where elegance meets excitement. Delight in captivating performances, elusive surprises, and exquisite hors d’oeuvres, all while mingling with fellow supporters of the Boys & Girls Club of Rochester as the evening comes to life. Don’t forget to stop by our 360 video booth to capture a memory of the evening with your friends, family, or colleagues. 

Dinner & Program

Indulge in an elegant dining experience featuring a custom menu and dessert. A brief program that includes dynamic presentations and a live musical performance will follow, as well as your opportunity to bid on one-of-a-kind luxury auction packages and artisan-made chairs.

Keep The Event Going

The night doesn’t need to end. All gala attendees are invited to celebrate late into the evening with free admission to the After Party hosted by the Rochester Art Center. You won’t want to miss the 'Mini Golf & Chairs' exhibition, curated by Zoe Cinel, featuring a fun mix of chairs created by world-renowned architects and a mini golf course designed by regional artists.
