My Personal Fundraising Page
We've always been AIDS Red Ribbon Ride "groupies." We have hosted multiple rest stops, transported meals, and visited riders during their adventures. Julie even "crewed" a few years ago. Two years ago, we purchased our first bikes (hybrids) from Full Moon Vista and fell in love with biking. Last year, we purchased road bikes (once again from Full Moon!) and decided to participate in the 5 day ARRR. It was a life changing experience that challenged us both emotionally and physically. We’re back once again and have committed to the 10th Annual ARRR. From Saturday 08/18/18 to Wednesday 08/22/18, we’ll be riding our bikes through the Finger Lakes to raise awareness and funds.
We ride to remember those that we have lost to HIV/AIDS, to support those who are infected with and affected by the disease, and to support the efforts to End the Epidemic by 2020.
If you’d like to help us reach our goal, you can make a donation via this page. A contribution of any amount would be much appreciated. No donation is too small. Collectively, we can all make a difference--one dollar at a time.
If you can think of others who might be interested in making a donation, please forward this email to them or share it on social media! Trillium Health is a great organization and you’d be helping them (and us!) by spreading the word.
If you’d like to join us on the ARRR, there are still volunteer opportunities available. Please contact Matthew Ragusa at MRagusa@trilliumhealth.org to obtain additional information.
And lastly, Julie and I are once again hosting “Bikes, Brew, BBQ” at 3 Heads Brewing on Saturday 07/28/18 from 3:00 PM-11:00 PM. Tickets for a BBQ dinner, raffle tickets, and Craft Beer Passports are available now. All proceeds benefit Trillium Health and the ARRR. Please visit our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/BikesBrewBBQ/) and/or Ticket Leap (https://bikesbrewbbq.ticketleap.com/2018/dates/Jul-28-2018_at_0300PM) for more details.
We hope that you’ll be able to support us through either a donation, volunteering, attending our event—or perhaps all three! We can’t do it without you!
