My Personal Fundraising Page
As most of you are aware I volunteer at the Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando. The time I have spent at the shelter has been really wonderful. The PAGO has programs in place to help enrich the pets during their time at the shelter. The staff and volunteers do their best to make the dogs and cats comfortable during their stay.
Our goal is to have the pets adopted to their furever homes. The PAGO does not euthanize due to time or space. As great as it is for me to see familiar dog faces when I volunteer, it warms my heart if they have been adopted before I return.
February 9th is Paws in the Park. This event starts with the fund raiser walk. The walk is one lap around Lake Eola. Please join us with your pup. After the walk is a wonderful event with dog games, pet vendors and most importantly animals up for adoption. If you cannot make the walk, then please donate to my page and help the PAGO.
Here are a few things that your donation will help PAGO achieve:
- Affordable Veterinary Care at the Orlando and Sanford clinic
- AniMeals on Wheels--delivering pet food to needy animals living with senior citizens
- Educational programs
- Most recently taking in 21 neglected German Shepherds from a puppy mill in GA.
- Feeding and providing medical care to the pets in the shelter waiting for adoption.
