My Personal Fundraising Page

My family will be walking again to raise money for this great foundation. As many of you know, before my surgery in 2012, I was having multiple seizures and at times, more than one in a day.

The Epilepsy Foundation has a special place in my heart. It’s one of the first places I called and researched when I had my first seizure in college.

The Epilepsy Foundation educates, connects people to one another for support and education, and empowers people of all ages. It’s one of resources that is helping to reduce the stigma of having a seizure. They also offer trainings to individuals, schools, and more.

As you think about donating, remember seizures are a lot more common than what we think.

1 in 26 people will develop epilepsy in their lifetime.

4th most common neurological condition, after migraines, stroke, and Alzheimer’s disease.

It can happen to anyone and at any age.
