On July 20th I will be standing on the highest natural peak from Canada to North Carolina over to the Dakota’s. Know where that is? Mount Washington..that's right. I will be on the summit of Mount Washington to welcome hikers that seek that peak. Before that, I will be seeking my own peak on the Madison Cascades. Due to knee replacement surgery this year, I am not able to climb but will be outside enjoying nature and witnessing firsthand the impact weather and climate have on my natural surroundings. And after all, that’s what it’s all about. Get out into Mother Nature and experience it first hand and raise money for a very worthy cause. Keeping Mount Washington operating and collecting valuable data, conducting important science and research and then educating the public regarding all of it is our mission and we can’t do it without your support. Your dollars keep Observers on the summit, interns working projects, educational programs conducting outreach and Marty the cat in snacks and litter! Please help us achieve our goal of raising $185,000 this year. Thank you and I will see you at the top!
Please join me in supporting this legendary institution by making a donation towards my hike. All gifts are fully tax-deductible, and will help Mount Washington Observatory continue their important work in the Home of the World’s Worst Weather.
