As most of you know we do a charity event every year. Now we have known many that lost their lives and loved ones to pulmonary fibrosis. Please help us help the foundation in finding a cure and providing hope to families dealing with loved ones with this disease.
What is Pulmonary Fibrosis?
Pulmonary fibrosis is a condition that causes lung tissue to become thickened, stiff, and scarred. The lungs eventually lose their ability to transfer oxygen into the bloodstream, making everyday activities such as breathing and walking extremely difficult. It is a progressive disease, which means it tends to worsen over time.
With no known cure, the disease is often fatal within three to five years of diagnosis. In the United States, PF affects more than 200,000 people.
