We’re raising money for the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia
Joe and I are thrilled to be participating in Adoption Lock-in 2025, a fundraiser supporting the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia! We are passionate about this cause and need your help! Every donation—big or small—helps reach our fundraising goal and directly impacts this important cause.
Over the last year, my husband and I have become deeply engaged in Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR) and fostering efforts. What began as a simple observation—that our own neighbors needed support—has evolved into a meaningful and actionable commitment to community outreach and education for families with pets and feral cat colonies throughout Hall County.
In just the last year, my husband and I have assisted with trapping and transporting over 125 cats/kittens to their spay/neuter surgeries in Hall County. We’ve also fostered 22 kittens, many of which wouldn’t have survived without rescue during TNR efforts or HSNEGA’s No More Litters program. Each foster kitten has been provided a safe space to be treated for injury or disease, socialized to improve their likelihood of adoption, spayed/neutered, and vaccinated- all covered by HSNEGA before finding their forever homes. These volunteer efforts have proven to be a successful way to address pet overpopulation in our community in Hall County. We couldn’t have done this without our county shelter and HSNEGA. The funding for these programs is an ongoing need, and we are asking for your support during the month of August.
Here's how you can help:
- Donate: Contribute whatever you can. No amount is too small!
- Spread the Word: Share our fundraising page with your friends, family, and social networks. Let’s spread awareness so we can raise more!
Thank you for standing by us in this effort. Your support means the world to us and the families who need our help!
Fosters

Gelato and Sherbert
Bottle baby foster kittens snuggled in. Their mom was diagnosed with flea anemia and could no longer care for them. She was provided medical care for free and we fostered the kittens until they were ready for adoption.
After: Chardonnay
Foster kitten, Chardonnay, ready for adoption after several weeks in foster care. We couldn’t resist taking this photo of her blending in with Joe’s shirt from Feral Print.
Before: Chardonnay
Chardonnay arrived to HSNEGA as part of the No More Litters program. Her eyes were sealed shut with infection after being diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection. She was one of three kittens in this litter - all requiring medical and foster care
TNR
We’ve assisted with spaying/neutering over 125 cats through TNR this year. This is a small snapshot of the number of cats that have been helped.
