Help our fellow Airmen and Guardians and their families when they need us most! These four official charities of the Air Force take care of us from the day we join throughout our retirement years. And then they are there for our surviving spouses. AFAF is truly FOR AIRMEN AND GUARDIANS, BY AIRMEN AND GUARDIANS!!!
The Air Force Aid Society (AFAS) - Supports Airmen and families by providing emergency financial assistance and on-base community programs.
The Air Force Enlisted Village (AFEV): Provides a home and support to surviving spouses of retired enlisted Air Force members
Air Force Villages Charitable Foundations: Provides a home and support for widowed spouses of retired Air Force officers.
LeMay Foundation: Supports widowed Air Force retirees and provides monthly grants for day to day living expenses and One-time relief funds are also available to compensate for unexpected expenses.
From emergency assistance to educational assistance, to community programs, to helping widowed spouses stay in their home as long as possible, to providing a home for them when they no longer can -- the four charities of the AFAF Campaign provide assistance to us when we need it. I'm fundraising for the AFAF Campaign because not only have these charities helped people around me, they will be there for me tomorrow should I need their help too!!! Let's all pay it forward!!
