2022 AFAF Campaign ○ Peterson-Schriever Garrison
50 SCS Moreno
50 SCS Campaign Fundraising Page!!
From emergency assistance to educational assistance, to community programs, to helping widowed spouses stay in their home as long as possible, to providing a home for them when they no longer can -- the four charities of the AFAF Campaign provide assistance to us when we need it. I'm fundraising for the AFAF Campaign because not only have these charities helped people around me, they will be there for me tomorrow should I need their help too!!! Let's all pay it forward!!
Feel free to donate to our 4 charities, or if you can't decide and just want to help with a donation we do have a "Where needed most" option and your donation will go to a charity in need. Every donation big and small will make a huge impact, and will support everyone in our Air Force/ Space Force Family.
Helping Airmen and Guardians is the singular philosophy driving everything at Air Force Aid Society. More than 19,000 assists in 2021, over $13.5 million in direct help through emergency financial assistance, education support, and community programs. Gifts go directly to support:
- Emergency Financial assistance
- Educational support
- Community programs
For every $1 donated AFAS dedicates $3 in helping Airmen and Guardians providing consistent support to all in need.
Air Force Enlisted Village (AFEV)
The Air Force Enlisted Village (AFEV) was envisioned after the Air Force Sergeant’s Association (AFSA) conducted a survey in 1967 and found that over 50,000 widows of enlisted men were living in poverty. Your gift changes lives surviving Spouses and Retired Airmen:
- $20 a month can pay for Bus transportation for the whole year
- $100 a month can pay for direct care of a memory support resident
The LeMay Foundation helps widows and widowers of all Air Force Retirees, both officers and enlisted, through financial grants of assistance. These spouses spend much of their lives coping with the difficulties of military life, and supporting their spouses through years of active duty.
- $20 a month can assist with Perscription delivery
- $100 a month can supports meal services for families
Air Force Villages Charitable Foundation
In 1970, Air Force Village opened the doors to its beautiful retirement community in San Antonio, Texas, and for decades it has remained true to its core charitable mission: to care for the widowed spouses of retired Air Force officers. Your Donations will directly go to:
- Living Expenses (Home, Groceries, Medical)
- Continual Care (Nursing, Assisted Living, Memory Care)
