From emergency assistance to educational assistance, to community programs, to helping widowed spouses stay in their home as long as possible, to providing a home for them when they no longer can -- the four charities of the AFAF Campaign provide assistance to us when we need it. I'm fundraising for the AFAF Campaign because not only have these charities helped people around me, they will be there for me tomorrow should I need their help too!!! Let's all pay it forward!!
Help our fellow Airmen and Guardians and their families when they need us most! These four official charities of the Air Force take care of us from the day we join throughout our retirement years. And then they are there for our surviving spouses. AFAF is truly FOR AIRMEN AND GUARDIANS, BY AIRMEN AND GUARDIANS!!!
• The Air Force Aid Society stands ready to help when Airmen or Guardians need assistance with finances and financial training; finding spouse employment; providing educational grants to dependents; vehicle repairs; funeral expenses; pet PCS transportation costs to/from overseas; even pet emergencies.
• The Air Force Enlisted Village and the Air Force Villages Charitable Foundation provide a home for widows and widowers of deceased retirees who otherwise would not be able to afford the cost of assisted living and memory care; and more.
• The LeMay Foundation provides monetary grants of assistance to widows/widowers of retirees needing help to remain in their homes as long as needed.
