The USAFE/A FM team knows all about money, so let's raise some!! Join the many before us who have instilled the tradition of "Taking Care of our Own" in the Air and Space Force culture! We have this short time during the Springtime to make sure we "Pay it Forward" by giving to the only official Department of the Air Force Fundraising Campaign that is "For Airmen and Guardians, By Airmen and Guardians!!! Let's bust through the top of this fundraising thermometer, Spartans!
Air Force Assistance Fund
Why give? Good question! Take a look around Ramstein air base and you will see many people in need of asssistance. When I see that young airman walking back from the Bx, dragging a bunch of shopping bags, I will ask if he/she needs a ride. It's an easy way to to show compassion and care. I bet many of you do the same, or donate items to the Base thrift shop or Airmen's attic. Donating to the AFAF is just like that. It is an easy way to directly impact our Airmen and Guardians. In 2021 the AFAF charities provided direct assistance for 19,000 Airmen, Guardians and their families. For Ramstein, AFAF provides Grants and Loans to assist with Basic Living Utilities, Emergency Travel Orders, Education Assistance and Child Care Costs. Donating to AFAF is very easy.
