Why I want to walk for Angela's House

In December 2003, I was blessed to learn the news that my wife was pregnant with identical twin sons. However, it was a few months later when during a normal sonogram we were briefly faced with the possibility that they were mono-amniotic, which are twins that develop inside the same amniotic sac. This was a scare, as we were told that the close proximity of the two umbilical cords could make it easy for the twins to become entangled, which could have limited their oxygen and food supply. Thankfully, all it was a scare, and a brief one at that. But that was a moment in time that has never left me, as I know this has unfortunately become someone else’s reality. So when I recently became aware of Angela’s House from friend Gennaro Desena, and how it was created out of a tragedy so that medically frail children and their families have a place to go to for much needed support, the least I could do was to participate in Angela’s House - 2nd Annual Walk.
