Rikky is one of the sweetest horses you will meet! Like Frid and Blakken he is Alatheia's "Go To" for our most fragile and challenged riders. He patiently waits at the mounting block while adult riders are lifted from their wheelchairs, gently lowered onto his back and safely prepared for their ride. Rikky knows when to be gentle and slow, but is ready to put the pedal to thew metal when they want a little more "go". As an older horse in the herd, Rikky has been a great teacher to our youngest horse Kjeks. He takes his role as a great uncle very seriously as he shows the mischevious teenager how to be a good therapy horse. Rikky's age also means he requires a little more TLC when it comes to feed and supplements to keep him feeling good and healthy. You can easily pick him out from the others because he has no black markings. Rikky is a red dun Norwegian Fjord which means he has a light blond body and mane with red highlights.
