My daughter was diagnosed with stage 4 at age 42 ALK+ non-small cell lung cancer in April 2022. She is a non-smoker, as are the majority of ALK+ Positive patients.

Our lives life have completely changed since her diagnosis. She is a Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine with Advanced Practice Certification in Animal Chiropractic. The main animals she treats are horses, dogs, and cats, but she adjust show cattle and other show animals. Her patients have been extremely understanding when she needs to change their appointments due to her health.

She was diagnosed while working in a Chiropractic Clinic part-time and part-time adjusting animals after her working hours and on weekends. She never minded working this much because helping others is so important to her.

She owns three horses, one a rescue, and three indoor/outdoor cats. Sometimes taking care of her animals is difficult, but they seem to know when she needs extra support.

Bonnie has been working 4 to 5 days a week including weekends and odd times when her patients, both people and animals have a need of chiropractic care. It is common for veterinarians to refer animals to her when the owners cannot afford neck, back or ACL surgeries. She helps the animals and their owners to relieve pain and improve function through chiropractic and home therapy.
