Goodness where do I begin. 

I was diagnosed with ALK-positive lung cancer on 9/30/2024. Im still in absolute shock by the diagnosis.  I'm thankful for the persistent cough and incorrect diagnosis of pneumonia that prompted me to seek medical care.  Like many others, I am a never-smoker,  had no known risk factors, and the diagnosis caught me completely off guard.   

While I am still very much processing all of this, I knew that I could not just let this diagnosis get the best of me.  I want to do my part to raise much needed funds for this great cause, that is now so very personal to me.  Thanks to ongoing research, we are making progress, but we need more funding to continue improving treatment options. Please help me raise funds to support ALK Positive, Inc. and fuel the next breakthrough in cancer research. Every dollar brings us closer to a cure."  

P.S. My goal of 930 is for the day I was diagnosed. Help me meet or crush this goal :-)
