Thanks for visiting our team fundraising page. Led by the Geriatrics Interest Group, the FSU College of Medicine has joined together to raise money for The Alzheimer's Project Inc.

The purpose of this event is to raise money and awareness for The Alzheimer’s Project which is a local non-profit organization funded by grants and private donations, and many of their services are delivered through volunteers. Their Day Respite Program and other support services help caregivers stay physically and emotionally healthy. They also deliver professional knowledge through seminars, training classes, and peer support groups.

Their goals are to help caregivers sustain a decent quality of life as they care for their loved ones, and to provide a comfortable, dignified existence for people suffering from dementia. In many cases their support helps delay the institutionalization of patients. All of their services are provided free of charge! It’s events like the Forget Me Not walk that make this possible.
