Junior Achievement of New York (JA New York) is a non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring and preparing young people to succeed in a global economy. Have you ever asked yourself, "when will I use this in real life?" It's an age-old question JA seeks to answer by bridging the gap between school and the "real world."

Through a dedicated volunteer network, JA provides free in-school and after-school programs to New York City, Long Island and the Lower Hudson Valley. 

Over 6,600 corporate and community volunteers deliver relevant, hands-on experiences that give students from kindergarten through high school knowledge and skills in financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship.
