Hi friends and family- as a patient having systemic scleroderma and also being the mother of a daughter that has systemic scleroderma I am walking this weekend to raise money for the Scleroderma of California Foundation. I have previously underwent an autologous hematopoietic stell cell transplantation to help prolong my life. But my fight has now become bigger as I am concerned for the future of my beautiful daughter. I hope that we can continue to raise awareness for this devastating and debilitating disease. Awareness gets one more person diagnosed sooner so that they have a better chance for early treatments to help slow the progression of this disease. Patient and family support as well as research is vital as well. I would like to ask for your help in sharing my team’s fundraising page.
