How to Get Started & Bid

Step 1: Purchase Tickets & Pre-Register

If you need a ticket, register here! Each guest will receive a bidder number and confirmation via email (if you registered before September 15, 2022, you may also have a ticket number)

  • If you are a sponsor or purchasing multiple tickets,
    • Enter the name and email address of your guest during registration. They should receive a confirmation email with their ticket, bid number and link to pre-register their information.
    • If you need to return later to add/edit guests, look for the "Manage My Tickets" link in your original confirmation email. Then enter your guest names and email addresses. .
  • If cannot attend or plan to attend the Open Exhibition and still want to bid in the auction, you still need to register as a Virtual Bidder

Step 2: Set Up Your Bidding Account

Set up your bidding account on the Givi app or website by using the "Manage Ticket" link or ticket code that you received in your e-mail. You'll be asked for a few details and can even set up your payment method in advance (credit card or echeck)!

  • Note: You do not need to use the Givi app to bid, you can also use the auction website on your computer or phone.
  • While pre-registration is faster, you can also add your registration and payment details at the door

Step 3: Bid, Shop & Donate

When the auction opens, start bidding! There will also be a special "store" with custom designed pieces for purchase, and ways to donate and show your support for Avenue - all from the app or website.

Remember, a bid is a binding contract. When you bid on an item in an auction, you're committing to buy it if you win.
