All race proceeds support St. Joan of Arc, located in a small village in Uganda, previously served by a only a one-room school house. The school was the dream of inspirational leader, Father Simon Peter Kyambadde, a native of Uganda who earned his doctorate from Mundelein Seminary near Chicago. With financial support from members of St. Joan of Arc Parish in Evanston, IL, the school opened in 2008 with 267 students. Today, it has grown to provide opportunities for prosperity to more than 600 day and boarding students in grades preschool to 7th.
