On October 4, 2025, I’m walking in the APDA Optimism Walk to raise funds for the American Parkinson Disease Association. I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in January 2024. Thanks to the free classes and support groups from APDA Missouri, my symptoms have improved, and I’ve found a community that understands what I’m going through. Parkinson’s has deeply affected my family — my father and uncle both battled this disease and lost their lives to it.
