Walk with us in Kitsap!
There is strength in numbers and our team looks foward to bringing together the Kitsap PD community to walk together at Battle Point Park on Bainbridge Island on Saturday, September 21 at 11am. We will gather near the picnic shelter just before 11am and then walk together for the Optimism Walk. Join us in solidarity as we walk together in the fight against Parkinson's disease (PD). Join our team and/or make a donation today. We have set a lofty goal and we hope to beat it because we know that every dollar raised makes a difference. The more funds we can raise for the APDA Optimism Walk, the more people we can help in the local PD community, and that's more important now than ever.
Need some encouragement?
- Every six minutes someone is diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.
- Funds raised enable the American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA) to continue providing local education, information, and support to those touched by PD in our community and fund scientific research into the causes, prevention, treatments, and ultimately the cure.
- The more funds we raise, the more people we can help!
You can make an easy online donation by clicking on the Roster tab, selecting a team member, and then just click on the 'Support Me' button on their fundraising page. You will automatically receive a confirmation email and we will be notified by email of your support.
