Alzheimer's Project is a local nonprofit that provides supportive services to families who are currently facing Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. Services include caregiver support groups, Social Club respite care, education & training, and other helpful services.
The goal of the organization is to keep caregivers healthy, both physically and emotionally, to prolong the abilities of caregivers and to provide a respectful & dignified quality of life for those living with the disease.
The Forget-Me-Not Walk is a way to honor caregivers and those currently living with the disease as well as an opportunity to celebrate the memory of those who have gone before us.
